About Desigual

Desigual began in Barcelona in 1984, when Thomas Meyer made a jacket from reworked material, one of fashion's early upcycled pieces. Prints and pattern are what people know it for, and it runs a line designed by Christian Lacroix.

A mainstream Spanish label at mid-range prices, it has shops and stockists in over 100 countries. Its customers pick it for the patterns, so a dress or bag tends to sell on its look with little explaining.
